Having any technical issues?
Pls tell us about it

The first step is to submit your project to the site for listing. You can find the site guidelines on the project submissions page. We will look at all projects submitted closely to determine their suitability for listing.
NOTE: Interactor is a crowd funding tool to help filmmakers, but we now offer additional services that you may wish to consider including a projects page with a members' area and ways to notifty your fanbase via social media, a wanted board and a place to actually list investment opportunities in your film.

Once submitted your project will then be evaluated by the Interactor Team. The decision to list your project for fund raising is based on, but not limited to the following: genre, public interest, suitability for distribution, stage of production, attached elements, motivation and the likelihood you will reach your target and fulfil your perks.

The next step is to get your content together for the site, decide your perks, set a target amount and date and begin your campaign. You will be able to add, upload media and photos from your administrator account in the front end of the site. We will also help you manage your content and create a Perk list that is realistic and unique to you.
You can either manage every detail of the project yourself or we can format your content for you. If you are missing essentials such as a poster or a suitable presentation video we can also offer assistance in this area.

It's up to you to actively engage your community by blogging about your project, creating Facebook groups, posting videos to YouTube, talking to interested websites and news outlets. You get out exactly what you put in. The more you blog in your members' area and add exclusive content and media the more likely your community will respond.
How visible your project is on the site and where it is ranked in the listings is directly proportional to the effort you put into your page. The Heat Bar is an accurate representation of how much interest there is in your film in relation to how much effort you have made into building a community. A good project with regular updates can easily make it to our homepage of select films where it will receive the the benefits of high traffic exposure.

If people like what they see and want to support you they will help your project by contributing towards it. The payment gateway for these donations is managed by Interactor and held until your first phase on the site is over. Your first phase is up to a 90 day period beginning from your first donation where you will attempt to reach the target goal you have set out. After this initial time period you can request to campaign for a further six months in the archive section of the site.

Once your maximum 90 day limit time to raise contributions on the site is over Interactor will then allow you to draw down the money you have raised, whether you have reached your target amount or not. We work on good faith that if we selected your project for the site, you have the motivation to complete it and then fulfill your Perks. As project administrator you and your supporters understand that you are responsible for finishing your project and delivering your Perks.
If you have specific questions about anything please see the relevant section in the FAQ or Contact Interactor if you are unable to find the information that you require.
